Technical Consultant

SpendHQ is a procurement analytics platform for procurement and sourcing professionals. We empower our customers to enhance and grow their strategic sourcing capabilities with a suite of spend visibility, supplier/risk management and savings analytics tools powered by leading AI and machine learning technologies.

We’re looking for a Technical Consultant to serve as a key member of the SpendHQ team. In this role, you will be focused on ensuring the success and satisfaction of our key customers. This position is part of a team responsible for driving data strategy/execution, leveraging automation to create scalable processes and identifying insights in client data. This role will be both client facing and data driven.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage strong relationships with strategic and complex customers
• Develop, test and implement business rules / challenges via scalable and repeatable data workflows
• Assist customers with complex data needs, providing technical guidance and solutions that align with our offering
• Showcase value of SpendHQ to key stakeholders by deriving insights from data
• Continuously review and optimize internal processes to increase speed, efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure effective delivery of client project work through data integration, validation, along with collaborating on client deliverables
• Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success teams to resolve technical issues, respond to change requests, and ensure the client is achieving maximum value from our solution

What You Bring to the Table

• Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx (or any ETL tool), Excel
• Strong communication and documentation skills. Demonstrates the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences and business concepts to technical resources
• Attention to detail, identify gaps / anomalies in data and strong QA skills
• Problem solving mindset and ability to come up with creative solutions
• Determine when client requests are outside of scope of contract and collaborate internally on how to address changes with the client
• Ability to project manage and determine priorities

Details

Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive benefits package.  Limited travel, as needed (<20%)

Location: Atlanta, GA (preferred). This position is also available remotely in the Eastern Time zone.
