The SpendHQ Story
SpendHQ was built by sourcing and procurement professionals who knew there had to be a better way to achieve visibility into spend, manage their procurement project pipeline, and prove the results. Our flagship spend intelligence solution was created in 2012 by experts at Insight Sourcing Group, a top management consultancy founded in 2002 and led by alumni of the world’s largest consulting organizations (Accenture, Kearney, Deloitte, McKinsey, KPMG) and global companies including Coca-Cola, HP, and Home Depot.
From the start, our spend solution was rooted in the critical importance of getting the data part right. Bringing fragmented spend data together and properly categorizing it in a central hub meant that all analysis done and future priorities made with that data had the highest level of confidence. The solution was proven across 5,000+ projects at Insight Sourcing Group, as we continued to grow the SpendHQ business, add enterprise customers, re-platform our technology, and earn industry recognitions.
In 2021, SpendHQ became independent from Insight Sourcing Group, appointing a new CEO and adding a SaaS-experienced go-to-market commercial team. Company-wide, our professionals continue to ensure our solutions remain the most innovative on the market.

New Era of Growth
In July 2022, the company who created the first Procurement Performance Management platform – Per Angusta, founded in 2011 in France by a former procurement manager – joined SpendHQ. The combination was about more than just the power of integrating the solutions. There was a shared vision for procurement’s potential, “procurement DNA” embedded in our work, and common employee values.
Today, SpendHQ is one global brand with an integrated portfolio of strategic procurement management solutions that work together to produce exponential benefits for our customers and partners.
