Professional Services Consultant

At SpendHQ, Professional Services Consultants are key to enabling our clients to succeed within the application. Consultants play a critical role in new client onboarding and delivering strategic procurement services. Consultants will be asked to manage project workflows, lead client interactions, and work with key client stakeholders to define and achieve their spend visibility goals. Consultants are emerging leaders with 1-3 years of client facing experience. At this time, we are actively recruiting professionals who have demonstrated a track record of accomplishment and dedication to join the SpendHQ Professional Services team. Specific responsibilities would include the following:

  • Develop and build relationships with clients • Collaborate with teams to efficiently execute on client projects • Work with clients to identify, document, and interpret key business requirements • Coach clients on spend visibility best practices and how they can navigate SpendHQ to identify opportunities for improving their procurement strategy
  • Assist in developing and executing upon project strategies and project plans

Qualifications

Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Account Manager will focus on our top Accounts to maximize the relationship, create to new sales opportunities, and drive the sales process from beginning to close. All done by working hand and hand with the Customer Success team supporting any complex renewals with these accounts as well as other strategic cross sell and upsell opportunities across the customer base. Priority focus for this role is driving new revenue from existing customer base.

Specific responsibilities would include the following:

  • Work with clients to identify, document, and interpret key business requirements and
    what is best in class for their organization.
  • Coach clients on the best practices of Spend Intelligence navigating the solution to
    identify opportunities for improving their procurement strategy along with Procurement
    Performance Management on how they can execute their savings plans and
    communicate the results to their business.
  • Ability to help create and sell the ROI story to customers driving value.
  • Strengthen our executive relationships with our customers discovering opportunities,
    managing the selling process as well as ensuring retention.
  • Implement and drive a disciplined sales forecasting process; provide weekly, monthly
    and quarterly bookings forecast.
  • Create and clearly communicate account plans, opportunities, and path for success
    asking for support when needed all with consent and effective communication to
    management and other team members.
  • Drive up sell and cross sell activities as well as support complex renewals when needed.
  • Exceeding sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Provide Customer feedback to Product and Go-to-Market teams allowing us to stay
    ahead of competition as well as develop new core offerings.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant and proven professional experience in a similar type role.

    goals; experience networking, organization mapping and building opportunities with
    existing customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing a disciplined and process-driven approach in
    order to successfully and effectively manage the sales cycle from identification to close.
  • Track record of success selling complex software solutions to financial and procurement
    stakeholders, with an average deal size of $50K – $250K.
  • Passion for understanding technology and customer success stories, equally matched
    by passion for understanding prospective customers’ executive priorities, challenges,
    and goals.
  • Experienced at conducting technology demos as part of the sales process.
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives
    simultaneously.
  • Ability to organize and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to establish and
    execute Enterprise Account plans that pursue customer growth opportunities
  • High intellectual horsepower with proven history of learning quickly and ramping to

  • Procurement, strategic sourcing and/or corporate finance experience with a focus on

Analyst/Associate, Business Intelligence

SpendHQ is looking for an Analyst/Associate of Business Intelligence to join their growing team. Analyst/Associate of Business Intelligence positions are part of a team which works with our clients to deliver spend analytics solutions. The team leads all client data integration, reporting, and enrichment, and consults with cross-functional partners in Client Success, Professional Services, and Engineering to deliver impactful client projects. The team is responsible for driving data strategy/execution, leveraging automation to create scalable processes, identifying insights in client data, developing internal process improvement initiatives, and reporting out on operational KPIs.

 

70% Client Data Strategy/Execution and Project Management 

  • Solve client business challenges through scalable and repeatable data workflows
  • Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into a structured analytics use case, including rapid learning of industry/domain/client dynamics and development of effective work plans to drive projects to successful completion
  • Build modeling workflows within analytical tools on a variety of big data platforms as required by business need, and create robust documentation of solutions and underlying design decisions
  • Ensure effective delivery of client project work through data integration, validation, mining, and modeling, as well as collaborating on client deliverables
  • Derive valuable insights from data and coach clients and other stakeholders from insights
  • Support hypothesis definition, data gathering, data transformation/wrangling, model training and tuning, deployment of production scoring for classification models

 

30% Process Improvement, Internal Data/Process Innovation

  • Continuously review and optimize internal processes to increase speed, efficiency, and accuracy

Skills we are looking for:

    • Minimum of 2 years of data analytics experience with a professional services firm, an internal strategy/analytics group, or similar environment with previous experience in strategy and/or analytics consulting highly regarded
    • Technical quantitative BS degree, combined with modelling work experience or training, with working knowledge of modelling (regression, machine learning, feature selection, validation), data (extracting, preparing, munging, validating), and building analytics pipelines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common data analytics tasks
    • Working knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
    • Experience with Alteryx Designer/Server preferred
    • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to business audiences, and to explain business concepts to technical resources; with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external team members
    • Knowledge of or strong aptitude for quick learning business operational, process, delivery, and revenue models
    • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity

Product Manager / Senior Product Manager
