Product Marketing Manager

At SpendHQ, the Product Marketing Manager is a storyteller. They play a key role in scaling our organization by providing our teams with the product positioning, customer-facing content, and core messaging needed to drive product adoption.

With a focus on the creation of engaging content for product launch campaigns, sales information and education, customer marketing, website, and SEO initiative, the Product Marketing function will be working cross-functionally with the product team, client-facing teams, like sales, client success and professional services. The ideal candidate will need to have marketing copywriting experience, and think on a strategic level while executing on content creation to support the various marketing initiatives.

Some Objectives You’ll Crush 

  • Ensure product, marketing, and sales alignment on product launches, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement, with a focus on driving demand
  • Define the positioning of new products and features to increase product adoption
  • Refine the quarterly product launch strategy for both our spend analytics solution and customers
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to act as a liaison between Product + Sales Teams to create marketing materials for new product and feature release
  • Produce high-quality spec sheets, one-pagers, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies by product type, presentation content, survey reports and web copy (blend between writing on your own and also managing third party agencies and partnerships).
  • Conduct thorough research on competitors and will perform market research to understand what consumers look for in their ideal products.
  • Use research and knowledge of products to develop engaging and educational product marketing campaigns that reach a wide target audience. Train the sales team to educate them on the products’ features and to monitor the ROI for each product launch campaign.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our products’ core benefits properly and consistently.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience in a product marketing role preferred.

Analyst/Associate, Business Intelligence

SpendHQ is looking for an Analyst/Associate of Business Intelligence to join their growing team. Analyst/Associate of Business Intelligence positions are part of a team which works with our clients to deliver spend analytics solutions. The team leads all client data integration, reporting, and enrichment, and consults with cross-functional partners in Client Success, Professional Services, and Engineering to deliver impactful client projects. The team is responsible for driving data strategy/execution, leveraging automation to create scalable processes, identifying insights in client data, developing internal process improvement initiatives, and reporting out on operational KPIs.

 

70% Client Data Strategy/Execution and Project Management 

  • Solve client business challenges through scalable and repeatable data workflows
  • Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into a structured analytics use case, including rapid learning of industry/domain/client dynamics and development of effective work plans to drive projects to successful completion
  • Build modeling workflows within analytical tools on a variety of big data platforms as required by business need, and create robust documentation of solutions and underlying design decisions
  • Ensure effective delivery of client project work through data integration, validation, mining, and modeling, as well as collaborating on client deliverables

    • Working knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
    • Experience with Alteryx Designer/Server preferred

SpendHQ is looking for savvy Data Engineers to join our growing team of experts. This role is responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced data engineer with strong Python skills, who enjoys optimizing data systems and building internal data pipelines/APIs from the ground up. In this role you will work closely with our software developers, architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and services.

  • Build and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

    • Creating and Containerizing Flask or FastAPI Applications.
    • Writing your own Tests and Fixtures using Pytest.
    • Knowledgeable of SQLAlchemy and ORMs.
    • Experienced using Mypy, Type Hints, and Static Type Checking.

  • Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB and Snowflake.
